It really depends on the book itself. We strongly push for interlibrary loan first, which you can find instructions for here: https://library.wcupa.edu/ill. If it's a new book that no library wants to loan, then you can ask if the library can buy it, but it doesn't mean we necessarily will.
If you just need a chapter of a book, you can ask the ILL specialist to request a copy of the chapter in the book (when requesting via ILL, there is a section called Book Chapter).
